Invisalign® Information
There has never been a better time to straighten your teeth with the most advanced clear aligner system in the world. As a certified provider of Invisalign®, Ellis Orthodontics is proud to offer a clear, convenient, and comfortable way to achieve the beautiful smile you’ve always wanted.
Why Choose Invisalign® Treatment?
Invisalign® clear aligners are designed with your comfort and lifestyle in mind. Here’s why millions of people have chosen Invisalign®:
- Virtually Invisible: The clear aligners are so discreet that most people won't even know you're wearing them.
- Comfortable: The aligners are made from smooth, flexible SmartTrack® material that is custom-trimmed to your gum line for a comfortable fit.
- Removable: You can take your aligners out to eat, drink, brush, and floss. This means no food restrictions and no changes to your oral hygiene routine.
- Effective: Invisalign® can treat a wide range of orthodontic issues, including crowding, spacing, overbites, underbites, and crossbites.
- Convenient: With fewer and shorter office visits (typically every six weeks), Invisalign® treatment is ideal for your busy schedule.
The Invisalign® Treatment Process
Your journey to a new smile is a simple, straightforward process.
- Your First Consultation – We’ll start with a conversation about your smile goals and an examination to determine if Invisalign® is the right choice for you.
- Your Custom Treatment Plan – Using our iTero® digital scanner, we’ll create a fast and precise 3D image of your teeth. With this model, Dr. Ellis will map out your entire treatment plan, showing you the exact movements of your teeth and even providing a preview of your final smile.
- Your Custom Aligners – Your series of custom-made aligners will be created just for you. For the best results, you’ll wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day.
- Your Progress – As you wear each set of aligners (typically changing to a new set every one to two weeks), your teeth will gently and gradually shift into their new positions. We’ll monitor your progress with checkups every six weeks or so.
- Maintaining Your Smile – Once your treatment is complete, we’ll provide you with a custom Vivera® retainer. These are made with the same state-of-the-art technology to protect your new smile for years to come.
